CASS and Watkin Jones Head to the Top!

CASS have recently constructed a cantilevered stair tower scaffold to the top of the largest building in Cardiff city centre.

The scaffold was erected off 760mm beams and was put in place for the topping out ceremony for Watkin Jones.  The ceremony was held on the roof space of the building and CASS were asked to erect the scaffold to allow the visitors and guests access to this area.

The Bridge Street building which is 85m tall will house student rooms and studio apartments, along with two roof gardens, a gym, cinema, laundry and social space.

“This was an amazing project for CASS to be involved in, and this final scaffold on this building was certainly a great showcase for us” said Tom Gent, CASS Managing Director.
