CASS Building to Retire

CASS are mid-way through the £1m scaffolding project in Stoke Gifford, Bristol. Working with Galliford Try Partnerships on the development of The Retirement Village has been an exciting and challenging project.

The seven-block site will host 261 apartments along with a community hall, bar, bistro, library, gym, shop, hair salon and craft room. The site is made up of the seven blocks (A to G) ranging between two and six storeys high.

CASS have been on site since the start of the project in November 2016 and the team have worked well with the site management team, and go from strength to strength. There are over 45 bricklayers keeping the 16-21 scaffolders working six days a week on their toes. This project will take us through to March 2018.

Tom Gent, CASS Managing Director said “We are pleased that our team continue to good working relationships with Galliford Try Partnerships and this development is a project that CASS aim to deliver and deliver well”.

“We have recently invested in purchasing a telehandler that will now enable the site team to work more effectively and efficiently which then ensures that the client are seeing results and meeting deadlines”.
