CASS Time to Talk

The 6th February 2020 is the ‘Time to Talk Day’ and CASS are encouraging all the scaffolding gangs and management team to take time in their day to talk.

The day encourages everyone to have a conversation about mental health – whether that is texting a friend, chatting to a colleague or speaking to your manager.  It is important to know that mental health affects more people that we think as it’s an illness that can’t always be seen.

To support this Kevin Halborg, CASS Contract Manager for Housing has recently completed a two day Adult Mental Health First Aid (Wales) course and will be more than happy to discuss any concerns and worries that you the staff have not only today but any day.

“We know the difficulties faced by operatives in the construction industry and the rate of suicide in men is far too high and if we can do anything to help anyone we will – things can be improved and you just need to talk” said Tom Gent, CASS Managing Director.
