More Progress at The General in Bristol
The restoration and development of the old Bristol General Hospital into luxury apartments progresses. CASS continues to work full time erecting more scaffolding around the tower at the south western corner of the original building. In the space freed up by the demolition of the derelict modern buildings around the old hospital, City and Country, the lead contractors, have built a new car park and luxury modern apartment block. The tower at the corner of the original building requires extensive works which will include the erection of a temporary roof. This will ensure that the work can continue without any worries about rainwater ingress. Watch this space for photos of the temporary roof in the coming weeks.
