CASS work together with Office Image on the external refurbishment of this high profile office building in Cardiff

CASS are working closely with Office Image on the external refurbishment of the high profile office building across the road from Cardiff’s historic Civic Centre. This project presented challenges for the CASS scaffolding team as the building is fronted by a main pedestrian walkway. On one other side the busy city centre street, Greyfriars Road, has pedestrian and vehicle traffic. The northern side of the building overlooks the Cardiff dock feeder canal.

The job required scaffold fans over the pedestrian areas to protect the public from any debris dropping from the building during the refurbishment. The scaffolding on the northern face of the building needed to be securely footed on the steeply sloped banks of the canal. The CASS scaffolders are working very closely with their designers to ensure that the scaffold is designed and erected to meet the requirements of Office Image and is both secure and safe.
