R&M Williams – Swansea Market

This major civic project is the refurbishment of the roof of this well known covered market.  The repair works required are extensive and the decision was made by the local authority that the works needed to be carried out while the market stalls carried on trading.

The early stage of this contract required the CASS scaffold team to build an internal temporary roof for the building so that any debris from the roof works are kept from the stallholders stalls. This first phase has been largely completed. The next phase will be to provide the access and safety scaffolding for the roof repairs to be carried out. This phase will start in the near future with a target completion date of end March 2015.
