Royal British Legion First World War Commemoration

CASS are honored to have donated a poppy wreath to commemorate the end of the First World War.

The Rt Hon Alun Cairns MP approached CASS to sponsor the wreath which was one of 100 that were placed by local school children in aid of the Royal British Legion.

The children were given the opportunity to take part in the special ‘Thank You’ service, and placed messages on the wreaths which were both poignant and moving.

The wreaths will remain at the Cenotaph at the Memorial Hall in Barry for all to see.
