Tom’s journey to the summit of the scaffolding industry is truly inspiring. After dedicating seven formative years to the Royal Navy, where he honed transferable skills and leadership qualities, Tom embarked on a new mission in the scaffolding industry. Starting from the ground up as a labourer at a local Cardiff scaffolding yard, Tom’s relentless drive and unwavering commitment swiftly saw him ascend the ranks.
Nick Carey
Operations Director
Nick’s role is to project manage and provide operational strategy to a team of 80 plus operatives. He has a proven track record of improving efficiency, reducing costs and contributing heavily to the overall exponential growth of the Company has led to CASS being a recognised name in the industry throughout the UK.
Nick collaborates and leads high-performing teams and has key responsibility for delivering exceptional performance across the board.
Hannah Gulley
Finance Manager
Hannah plays a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of CASS, managing its financial resources, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires a combination of financial expertise, strategic thinking, and effective communication skills.
She manages the company’s liquidity and ensures that there is enough cash to meet its operational needs. This involves overseeing cash flow, working capital management, and optimising the use of financial resources.
Neil Lewis
Contracts Manager
Neil joined CASS in January 2019 and has become a leader in our operations department. Neil has worked in many roles within the construction industry and is extremely proficient in his role as Contracts Manager.
Jack Bruford
Senior Contracts Manager
Jack’s role is overseeing and managing the entire life cycle of contracts within the company, developing and implementing strategies for effective contract management that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
His role requires a deep understanding of contract law, negotiation skills, strategic thinking, and effective leadership abilities.
Chris Crawley
Contracts Manager (London)
Chris oversees all of our London operations and is the newest member of our team. Chris has extensive experience in the scaffolding industry.
Ian Bruford
Contracts Manager
Ian began working at CASS in October 2010 having been in the scaffolding industry for over 25 years. He brings extensive knowledge and understanding of the construction industry.
Nicola Johnson
Finance Administrator
Nicola has been with CASS since 2019 and is a fundamental member of the finance team.
Her duties include recording financial transactions and maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. Budgeting and forecasting, ensuring accurate record-keeping, compliance with financial regulations, and providing support for budgeting and financial analysis. This role requires attention to detail, proficiency in financial software, and a good understanding of accounting principles.
James Reed
Transport and Logistics Manager
James manages all transportation and logistics activities of the company. His primary objective is to ensure the efficient movement of goods, materials, and products from the point of origin to the final destination. This role is crucial for maintaining a smooth and cost-effective supply chain.
His planning and optimising of the transportation routes are crucial to ensure timely delivery of goods. This involves considering factors such as distance, fuel efficiency, traffic conditions, and delivery schedules.
Jacob Long
Contracts Manager
Jacob is the newest member of our Contracts Managing team. His strategic oversight and meticulous attention to detail ensure that every project we undertake is executed flawlessly from start to finish. While Jacob may be a recent addition, his contribution to the team has been fundamental in improving efficiency and innovation.
With a keen eye for identifying opportunities and mitigating risks, Jacob navigates the complexities of our projects with finesse, ensuring that deadlines are met, and client expectations exceeded.
