CASS Help to Save Lives

CASS are currently working on the re-development of Machynlleth Community Hospital for Willmott Dixon, which will offer additional essential services to the local community.

The site is being improved to offer primary care services along with a base for health, local authority and third sector teams.  The CASS team have been on site for the last few weeks and are working closely with the site team on this iconic building.  It was built in 1860 and was the Machynlleth Union Workhouse before changing to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, and then changing again to Machynlleth Chest Hospital.

“This is a lovely project to be involved in, especially as we can help a little to improving the facilities not only for the patients and visitors but also for the NHS staff who have worked tirelessly over the last 18 months during the pandemic.  This is another project with Willmott Dixon and we are proud to be able to offer our services for this resource” said Tom Gent, CASS Managing Director.
