Not just investing, developing skills
In December 2022 CASS established the ‘NextGen’ Group which is made up of young people within the company.
The aim was to invest in these individuals for the future of CASS. The young men were handpicked and meet on a quarterly basis and go through personal and professional plans for their development.
It is important to the management team at CASS to ensure the future of the company and offering opportunities to these young people and offering a development plan for their future. Tom Gent wanted to ensure that the young people feel valued in what they bring to CASS. Tom also felt that it is important to show the group what goes on in the background on how the team bid for work, how the contracts start and what is included in the management roles of the company.
CASS have arranged sessions with a financial advisor, a life coach and training coach to help the youngsters on their scaffolding careers.
We have also invested in the training programmes for these individuals to allow them progress through the ranks of their careers.
